Process

Auction purchase process

Clear steps from vehicle link and budget to auction purchase, transport, customs and registration in Lithuania.

How it works

How does auction car purchase work?

Vehicle purchase from US or European auctions happens in clear stages. Before bidding, we check the vehicle information, documents, seller, possible risks and preliminary costs. Only then do we decide whether it is worth taking part in the auction.

Before bidding we assess:

  • VIN / LOT information
  • Document type
  • Seller and damage
  • Transport and customs costs

Steps

From inquiry to the car in Lithuania

A short overview of how vehicle inspection, auction purchase, transport and document handling work.

1

Inquiry and goal

You send a vehicle link, LOT / STOCK number or briefly describe the car you are looking for.

2

Vehicle selection

We help evaluate suitable options at US and European auctions such as Copart, IAAI, Manheim and others.

3

VIN, LOT and document check

We check the vehicle history, document type, seller, damage and visible risks.

4

Preliminary final price

We calculate vehicle, auction, transport, customs and other expected costs.

5

Agreement and deposit

If the vehicle fits, an agreement is signed, the maximum bid limit is agreed and the deposit is paid.

6

Auction bidding

We represent you at auction within the agreed price limit. If the vehicle is won, the purchase process starts.

7

Payment and transport

After a winning bid, payment is arranged, the car is collected from the yard and transported to Lithuania.

8

Customs, documents and delivery

When the vehicle arrives, we help with customs formalities, documents and delivery in Lithuania.

Details

What should you know before bidding?

The most important information about the inquiry, price, deposit and delivery time in one place.

What is useful to send with an inquiry? +
To calculate the price faster, it helps to send the auction link, LOT / STOCK number, target budget or a short description of the car you are looking for.
What is included in a preliminary price? +
A preliminary price may include the vehicle price, auction fees, transport to the port, sea freight, customs and document costs, VAT, duty and transport in Lithuania.
Why is a deposit needed? +
The deposit is a guarantee for taking part in the auction. If the vehicle is purchased, the deposit is included in the total price.
How long does delivery take? +
Delivery time depends on the vehicle location, port, auction and customs process. Cars from the US usually arrive in a few months.

Check

Why not bid without inspection?

Auction photos do not always show the full vehicle condition. Before bidding it is important to assess the document type, seller, damage, visible defects and possible additional costs. This helps avoid situations where a vehicle looks cheap but becomes too expensive to repair or register after purchase.

Document type

We assess whether the documents are suitable for the next steps.

Visible damage

We review damage, defects and possible additional risks.

Real budget

We calculate not only the purchase price, but the total cost to Lithuania.
